Malesha Taylor


Malesha Taylor is a classically-trained vocal artist, TEDx Speaker, professor and the Founder of museSalon Collaborative an organization serving communities nationwide in equity, impact and transformation consulting.

In her TEDx talk, "What Do You See," Malesha discusses her intersectional identity as a black woman in opera and her experiences with bias and representation. She has worked in arts education, non-profit administration and higher education for over 15 years and served as a lecturer at Scripps College- The Claremont Colleges, Cal State San Marcos and Clark Atlanta University and guest lecturer at Harvard University, Spelman College and Cal Poly Pomona

Combining the rich experiences of the performing arts, higher education, arts administration and community engagement, Malesha seeks to bridge connections between art, culture and community by providing opportunities for interdisciplinary dialogue, transformation, and innovation through culture.
Her published works include essays on diversity and community engagement with the Boston College Commons: HowlRound. She has also been a featured speaker with the national platform, Arts in a Changing America.
